Report from ASTM Technical Committees in Anaheim

This week Anaheim, CA hosted the semi-annual meetings of the ASTM Technical Committees right at Disneyland’s doorstep, and Thermetrics was along for the ride.  ASTM Technical Committees develop and maintain ASTM standards, and are made up of over 32,000 volunteers from manufacturers, consumer groups, government and academia.

Thermetrics focused on the F23 Committee on Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment and the D13 Committee on Textiles.  These meetings provided plenty of opportunity to understand and weigh in on the current status of ongoing standards revisions.

Many Thermetrics clients were present, including North Carolina State University, Kansas State University, PBI Performance Products, UL, Norfab, and the US Army.
